Managing projects and apps
The AutomatID portal can be used to manage projects and apps.
Create new projects
To create a new project, from the homepage:
- click on the button "Create new project"
- repeat the steps in Projects and apps.
Create new apps
To create a new app in a project, from the homepage:
- click the
+
button in the project section - repeat the steps in Projects and apps.
Download the configuration file for an app
To download the configuration file for an app, from the homepage:
- click on "View Integration"
- click on "Download production configuration file".
Rename an app
To rename an app, from the homepage:
- click on "View Integration" for the app
- click "Edit"
- type a new name
- click "Save".
Delete an app
To delete an app, from the homepage:
- click on "View Integration" for the app
- click "Edit"
- click "Delete" and then confirm by clicking "Yes, delete permanently the app".
This action cannot be undone!
Immediately after deleting the AutomatID app, every identification requested by the corresponding Android/iOS app will fail.
The data under Analytics for a deleted app are retained and kept available for 13 months.
Delete a project
To delete an entire project and its app, from the homepage:
- click on the
...
button of the project - click "Delete project"
- in the textfield, type the name of the project that you are deleting and then confirm by clicking "Yes, delete the project and its apps".
This action cannot be undone!
Immediately after deleting the AutomatID project, every identification requested by the Android/iOS apps corresponding to each of the project's apps will fail.
The data under Analytics for a deleted project are retained and kept available for 13 months.
